A bit more excited about this one than a normal game. Go Dawgs!

They’re the ones that can get us where we haven’t been in 15 years.
Congrats to coaches and players for winning first 2 games to make this a big meaningful game, should be a great atmosphere and fun for the players wish I could go but I'll be listening on the radio.
Go Dawgs!
We need to put good pressure on the QB. We sacked NIU four times and pressured their QB many times.. need to do the same against SEMO.
No doubt we're going to get some pass interference penalties.. just hope they're legitimate instead of the bullshit ones that beat us last year. Some refs just enjoy calling penalties.
Note to refs: the more penalties you call the longer you'll have to be on the field!!

Most certainly agree with you here. Dawgs did an excellent job of shutting down NIU RB's and need to do the same vs Hess. Like you have stated, it's imperative we apply ample pressure on their QB. Blitz using different packages/schemes. Would be absolutely thrilled to start the season 3-0 with a bye week approaching before MVFC play at home vs Mo. State.
GO DAWGS!!!
If you are planning on going to the game you better get your tickets right now. According to the SEMO website there are only about 100 tickets remaining. The south (home) side is completely sold out and the 100 or so tickets are available on the SIU (north) side. Looks like it will sell out well in advance of the game!
Listended to Stone’s interview of Nic Baker on the FCS Nation podcast today. Both are great ambassadors for SIU.
Super stoked for this game. Would be huge to start the season 3-0 going into the bye week before opening the conference slate.

Just sold out.
They are selling standing room only now if you still want to go to the game.Just sold out.
Does this game usually sell a lot of tickets? It seems like SIU always has trouble getting good attendance for football. Everyone seems to want to see this game though.
Maybe because both teams are ranked.

Traditionally, Saluki fans travel well to this game.

I’d guess SIU tops 10,000 for their homecoming game this year. Keep in mind, SEMO only holds 10,000.
Damn the luck again. Currently shelled up in an Airbnb in New Jersey for a wedding. I would have loved to make a whole day out of this one - a few hours at the Cape Girardeau casino before heading off to the tailgate around mid-afternoon. I love seeing our Salukis in big-time atmospheres. And by “big-time,” I don’t just mean in power 5 stadiums in front of 50,000 people - I just like stadiums being filled to capacity and fans cheering and booing like they give a damn. Makes the environment more fun and the game seem more meaningful.
ROLL DAMN DAWGS!
