SIU gets a 4th down stop in their own territory on a nice hit by Clayton Bush
Another touchdown for Jacob Garrett. SIU leads 31-10 with 23 seconds left in the 3rd. 4 touchdowns for Garrett in 2 games.

That drive was methodical, time consuming, relatively easy and just beautiful !!!
Who was the knucklehead with the unsportsmanlike that gave UND a first down after we had stopped them in the red zone? I didn’t catch it, but Hill was chewing some serious ass on the sideline.
That was a killer penalty that kept UND in the game.
Field goal gives SIU a 34-17 lead with 7:29 left in the game. Offense has been humming all game.
SIU 34
North Dakota 17
Final
Nothing much to complain about in this one. SIU could have easily come out with a Northwestern win hangover but they were in control of this from the beginning. Nice win for the staff and team.
Two games in a row with both O and D looking good. I especially like how the D and the O line have come together.
Very good game, Salukis!
(Inflammatory political snark)
Well, that was fun. Looks like a completely different team out there.
Big one next week against Illinois St, who will have had an extra week to prepare.
Don't the home team announcers normally do espn+ games?
Not if the visiting team already has someone paying for a feed for the game. NDSU has a station in Fargo that shows all their games so when they play in Carbondale, ESPN+ uses their feed. It's cheaper for SIU that way. The cost of producing a college football game is not inconsequential for the University.

ok thanks
Today was nearly flawless game (aside from a missed field goal and 2 extremely dumb penalties). I enjoy seeing this team show what they can do.
The last two weeks were extremely well executed and this team has shown a great characteristic of improving on a weekly basis hopefully this trend continues
hats off to the coaches and players for getting some big issues addressed in a very short window. not easy.
and to quote mr. woodcock after the game: "if you don't punt, you don't lose."
First game in person in years! Beautiful day for football, if you had sun screen!
Dominant performance by the Dawgs. Penalties, some questionable, made the final score closer than the actual game. O line and D line and secondary greatly improved from weeks 1 and 2.
QB and receivers played great. The most notable improvement? PASS RUSH. The Chickenhawks QB was sacked 7 times and forced to throw it away numerous times.
D'ante Cox has some wheels, just like his brother. On that 67 yard TD, he just left their DBs in the dust!
Our O line protected NB - no sacks at all. And JWill threw a perfect 21 yard pass. Would like to see more of that. Opponents won't/don't expect it.
Now let's do it to the Redturds next week.
