Exactly what I thought.
Very tentative, playing not to lose. And someone clever in the ISU press box figured out that we might not adjust well to a huury-up.
Work to be done.

This win feels like a loss. I can't believe it was all because of "2nd half adjustments". Really?

Wasn't perfect by any stretch but going on the road in the MVFC against a decent team and getting a win no matter how they do it is fine by me. Still worry about how they'll fare against the better teams in the conference but have to grab wins now before you do.
It sure seems like this team can lose its intensity very quickly/easily. No intensity at IWU. A little better, but still not enough against SEMO. Plenty the next two games after their backs were against the wall. Phoning it in the second half tonight. Nick has to figure this out.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
I'm too lazy to look it up, but I would not be surprised if we already had more sacks than last year; I am certain we've had more meaningful sacks than we had last year.

Winning at Normal is tough. First time in 10 years. Huge win. Dominant first half. Hill admitted he played the second half conservatively. North Dakota had a nice win today. We’re looking good. Too many critics here!
JUST WIN BABY!!!
Bow Em
Not the prettiest win, but a win nonetheless. Big thing about this game…got a stop when they needed it vs giving up the TD (see SEMO). Hopefully Hill learned his lesson about coming out conservative with a lead and an entire half of football still to play.
Next week’s game is a big one…feels like it will make or break Mo St.’s season so we should get their best shot. Need to play much better if we want to get the win.
Looking at MoSt schedule other than playing Arkansas doesn't look like a very taxing schedule according to the scores but it should be a tough game on the road but I expect a bounce back game to the level of the previous 2 games not to mention the ever improving defense should point to another close win on the road
Yeah, take the win, however ugly, at Normal. Congrats team and coaches. Always love ISU losing at anything.
But SIU sadly, only played one half and I still SMH over the predictable/conservative play calling. That, and the Jekyll and Hyde, nature of this team make me nervous. Looks like just about every game will be this way...
March on triumphantly!

Yeah and Arkansas was grossly overrated. They did not dominate the MoSt game and will likely be under .500 in 2 weeks after starting strong. That being said, MoSt will be fired up for this game as they're backed in a corner and SIU is going to get their best game. Will be a rough game indeed.
FLYING THE FLAG IN NORMAL! little bobber, big bobber, OBD, and mr. woodcock.
