They've thanked the 49ers, Colts, Bucs, and Texans for attending practices. Obviously they are there scouting Jeremy Chinn. It would be great to have someone else get put on their radar. How about a scouting report from you guys in the area.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
From Hill's latest presser it sounds like all three QB's are still about equal. He's waiting for one to stand out from the others.

It sounds to me like Karé Lyles, who I thought would probably take the job and run with it, is in 3rd place.

Still early but that's a disappointment so far.
Sounds like the decision is written in Stone at this point. A "decent" 71.9% completions in JC. Including last year, I've heard Hill say nothing but positives for Stone.

I'm not so sure. The fact that Baker was first up leads me to believe that he's top on the depth chart. The fact that Hill was lamenting that Baker had a turnover tells me that he was hoping Baker would perform perfectly and thus separate from the other two -- and didn't. Then Hill talked very positively about Stone. This tells me that he likes Stone. And the fact that he really didn't mention Lyles suggests to me that he's running third. I, of course, am reading the coach speak. Coaches think about positions like they are looking at a depth chart. They start from the top and go down. Hill talked first about Baker, then Stone, and not about Lyles.

I sure like the look of the new helmets:

Still not sure about the panting dog......
I happened to be in Cleveland last week and ended up attending the Browns/Redskins pre-season game. The Browns pipe in barking dogs and growling dogs during various key situations. It really got their "dawg pound"/the crowd fired up. Wish SIU would consider doing something similar during football and basketball games. It's another twist on the fan experience......and it's applicable given SIU's mascot.
I sure like the look of the new helmets:
Yeah, that's sweet.
March on triumphantly!
AND THE WINNER IS...Stone Labanowitz
Good Luck!!!
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
Labanowitz named starting QB...that would have been my last guess. I don’t know if that’s good or bad (he over performed or the other two underperformed). I guess we will see next Thursday.
Good luck Mr. Labanowitz. Saluki football desperately needs to rack up some W's this year.
Go Dawgs!
Including last year, Hill has always said positive things about Stone. 71.9% completion rate in JC is pretty impressive. Hope he turns out to be another Sambursky.
Unfortunately for him and Nick and the team, we have an awful schedule. Four 0f the first five games are away and we'll be underdogs in all of them. Then game 6 we get the Redturds, who will be very tough this year. We could easily start the season 1 - 5, which should destroy any confidence the team had.
That is one poor job of scheduling for a team that is trying to pull itself up by its bootstraps!

I'm hopeful.
