the dayton flyers are coming to town.
They are non-scholarship, right?
Wish this was basketball related
Sounds like the found a team to fill the void left by Wisconsin. Happy to hear they found a replacement.

They play in the Pioneer league, which does not offer scholarships. It is a football only conference, despite being classified as an FCS league.
I think Dayton lost to an MVFC team in the playoffs last season. Western Illinois maybe? Could have been the year before though.

Dayton won at Indiana St last year 42 - 35. In 2017 they beat SEMO. They haven't been in the playoffs since 2015, when they lost to WIU.
They'll be better than Quincy.
I'm sure a lot of their players get some financial support - just don't call it an "athletic" scholarship.
Dayton was supposed to play SEMO for their opener this year but it has already been canceled because they (Dayton) could not be ready by the date.

Wow... doesn't seem that long ago.

Sal’s brother is a Flyer. Think I’m gonna make the trip from Tobacco Road for this one.
