Wow, kind of hard to believe given all the injuries and the incredible turnaround the defense had under his 1st year. Sounds like he's the scapegoat. I would think the special teams coach would have been 1st in line.https://twitter.com/CoachSamz/status/1861485845368230047

There has to be something more to this than we know. Hill had nothing but praise for James last year and it’s not like the defense was awful. They were pretty young and beset by injuries. They got better as the year went on. Color me shocked…I wouldn’t be surprised to see quite a few transfers on that side of the ball.

Defense was pathetic this year. Last year must’ve had more to do with personnel than with James.
Good for Hill for making a move right away if he felt it needed to be done.
