@resaluki-88 Wild that next year will be his 6th season. I assume he got a medical redshirt one year and that maybe he’ll be coming in as a grad transfer?
Or, did he qualify for a COVID-year? I can’t remember now when the last batch of COVID-year players are supposed to be finished playing.
@saluki44 Agree. It will be so nice when the “COViD year” extra year comes to an end. However, now with the new JUCO ruling, it looks like we will continue to have 24-26 year olds playing college sports. I wonder if things like graduation rates are still a factor in the amount of scholarships a school can offer? I guess if they do, a program can circumvent that by getting an NIL to fund the athlete’s “schooling.”

I believe I read somewhere that we picked up a kicker from the University of Minnesota. Can anyone confirm this? I thought we could use a place kicker, but this player looks like a punter.

Trying to keep track on the first post of this thread. We got a long snapper commit from Minnesota. Not sure if that’s what you were referring to or not.
