Redshirt freshman corner. We are getting FBS transfers, but almost all of them haven't played.https://twitter.com/dashaun2tuff/status/1873096591395176560
Another NIU transfer
@siu_2011 Thank you kindly. You most likely are better than I am when it comes to keeping track of this portal craziness. I certainly hope this player works out because there were issues with PAT snaps last season. I hope we can pick up some more play makers, and a few offensive lineman from a few FBS programs.
SDSU losing both Head Coach, and QB and of course we do not play them next year, UGH

Sisson originally committed to us and then walked-on at Illinois. Now he’s back
Nice get, although he's another with no D1 playing experience. We lost a ton of experienced talented players to the portal and are mostly replacing them with inexperienced transfers with nice upsides. We may have some serious growing pains next year!https://twitter.com/blaynesisson/status/1877388074105090145?s=46

He played QB in high school but did a lot of running/option. Seems like Illinois moved him to defensive back this year

DB from Morehead State.
This appears to be a good get. 109 tackles and 4 interceptions last year.https://x.com/Matthew_M_2004/status/1878615823096668359

This player certainly does look to be a solid pickup. Athletic at 6' 2" 185. Was a redshirt sophomore, so will have two years left. He was a QB in high school, so probably intelligent too. Was a first team All Conference selection this past Fall.
Good job Coach Hill and staff.
GO DAWGS!!!
@salukiworld I am assuming Coach Hill told him that if the situation did not work out at Illinois that SIU would be happy to have him back? I'm afraid if he has a good year or two he will be gone again to a larger program.
Looks like Blayne Sisson is going to start in the WR room.
