If we get up big early, then why change things up until it stops working? Just asking for a friend.
Cause that wouldn't put every fan at risk of a heart attack, and that's less fun!
We needed a 1st down or two to put it away. Not happy with the play calling in that series.
Gave them the ball back with plenty of time to win or tie and he missed the FG.
Still in 1st but have to be better at UNI!
Go Dawgs!
ND misses 2 FG late and SIU remains Top 5.
Sheesh. It looked like the fans would get a break this week, but nope. 😂🤣
it looked like we were gonna hammer these guys.
Thats a winner
this is all that matters
Our two kickers won this game. A 46-yard FG from Nico and a great punt from the Aussie before that putting ND at the 12.
major credit to those two cats. 🏈.

I think the wind caused SIU to be a bit conservative because UND was really going to have to get close to make a kick
How many times in the 2010’s did SIU look like they were starting to build momentum only to suffer a crushing loss? Feels good to finally start winning these games
Ugly win but after last week’s win I feel we stole, I’ll take it. Got to play better against Northern Iowa though
Coyotes up 24-0 at UNI early in 3rd.
Why do I feel like this will be the high-water mark of the season for the Dawgs??

A homecoming win as the #4 team in the country to move to 6-1 isn’t too bad of a high-water mark, but yeah, I get why you’d say that. Winning three games by 5 points isn’t terribly confidence inducing.
Survive and advance, though.
I’m enjoying it.

It does feel weird. We have pulled games out.
Let’s hope we get more consistent when we get back from the bye week.
And Avante. Nobody should be able to stop our passing attack with all those options.
and that will open up the run.
im thrilled to be where we are

I was thinking the same thing earlier. We could easily be 1-3 in conference instead of 4-0. But we aren't, so I guess we should just enjoy the close wins while we can. Definitely beats losing.

I get it too; it is disturbing.
BUT in seasons past, we would have lost these games, or at least a couple of them, but here we are . . .
(Inflammatory political snark)

They've also had a bunch of injuries and really dominated the Western Illinois and North Dakota games (at least for most of the game). I think they stole the South Dakota State game and were sleepwalking during the Illinois State game before turning it on.
If Wikipedia is right, this was the 13th highest attended game in Saluki Stadium history. I was at the Dayton game a few weeks ago and that crowd was pretty disappointing. Today's crowd was great.
