Saw them play at UNI. Game was not as close as the score - they won by 4. They have a big, mobile Fr. QB, a very good D, and a speedy RB! I will say UNI's D really shut them down 2nd half though to make the game close.
If we don't spot them 13, I think we win this game by at least a TD or two!
They lost at N. Dakota by 11, after leading at halftime! They squeaked by Youngstown at home last week.
Isn't it fun to be talking about important, impact games for SIU football? I am looking forward to taking a break from basketball to watch. At least we are going into each game with the confidence that we can beat them if we play up to our talent and potential. That time is finally here I think where it was a question mark for the past few. Nick has done a really good job putting everything together and hopefully making us a desirable location for talent going forward. Having Chinn doing so well sure helps too, great advertising..

Stone L to start and unfortunately Lyles first off the bench. I can't imagine Nic B will be available. I'm going to watch SDSU tonight after I watch Nick on his Wednesday night zoom call for the Gridiron Club. No doubt Nick will address this.

Agree, but Nic was in a boot the second half of the game. Can't believe he'll be available.
