Plot twist: It was a planned event to announce it day before gameday to build the SIU-SEMO "War for the Wheel" rivalry both schools seem to be craving..
..And, I've gotta say, it's kinda working....
What the actual hell, SEMO? How does a Division 1 program let something like this happen? The grandstand is bad enough, but the press box??? There's inspection companies out there that specialize in this kind of stuff, you know. It would have took some planning, money, and coordination, but I believe, SEMO, that you could indeed pull it off.
Mercy.
They've known since 2018 that ancient, concrete Houck Stadium was not much more than upright rip rap.
Letter from the pres. and AD on 9/1/21 at 7pm announcing reduced capacity for the season, the need for a new stadium, and asking for money - definitely seems calculated. I'm betting that latest inspection was done a while ago, but they wait until now to announce it?
Game should be at Saluki Stadium and this should have been decided months ago. PERIOD!
I'm still not over the Lebanowitz news, but my excitement is slowly getting back to where it was a couple weeks ago.
Hopefully we come ready to play. Can't afford to drop this one with our gauntlet of a schedule.
LFG.

Most interested to see how the opportunities are distributed among the RBs. Deepest room we've had in a while I think
they are cramming their season tickets holders around the 50 yard line. their students will be on the east end of the visiting bleachers. saluki fans will be on the west end, from the 20-40 yard lines.
it's a dump. but burritoville is good.
now they say there are adding some "emergency" bleachers in the west endzone.
Let’s go Dawgs! Take care of the ball. LFG
Honestly, if I'm the OVC I'm just embarrassed to the point that I'm making SEMO go on the road all year. Hey, if you can change things last minute, so can we!

Ha! Like a carnival ride. Sounds really safe...
March on triumphantly!

No question about it. Saluki Stadium should be hosting tonight.

Labanowitz is F'ing Gone?
Lamentable Falling down stadium in cape Girardeau?
Lots of Flatulence in cape Girardeau?
😀
BWTMGM has us a 13 point favorite. Give the points.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!

Would be awesome to win by 14+ but I think that's underestimating SEMO. Vegas never seems to be far off though.
Got the game on ESPN+. Listening to Reis on the Saluki app, which is really cool.
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Run defense really struggled that drive like they did against SEMO last year but drive ends with a punt thanks to penalties.
