It’s nice to be able to escape pressure and make throws which NB can do. Unfortunately he is running and moving out of pocket when he should step into the pocket and deliver the ball downfield. He looks at primary WR 1 and 2 then takes off. Last game he was pressured but he also starts backing up and throwing off back foot when there’s a pocket to step into. Nic is still young but I’d like to see Norton get chances when NB struggles. He’s big and throws a solid ball. QB room should be nice next year with Baker a year older and Norton and Lindauer getting more familiar with scheme. If I’m correct heading into next season NB has 2 years ? Norton 3 ? and Lindauer 4 ?

That throwing off the back foot led to a number of underthrown balls too. So far this season, our quarterbacking has not been as good as last year.
I'd also like to see Norton get a chance to spray that ball around. Hope it isn't because we're getting whipped by SDSU though.

I have no doubt we'll play our tails off this game. We're coming in with a bad taste in our mouth from the last 2 meetings
Needless to say, the Dawgs have to play significantly better than they did the past 2 weeks against Western & Illinois St.
We owe these guys. Honestly, Kansas State is pretty good and we should have beaten them on the road. We had every opportunity. The offense didn't look good in that game, and IMO, regardless of points scored, hasn't looked anywhere close to how good I thought the "O" would be.
I want to see SIU go out there and bust some A$$ today.

Big day today. If they want to show they are real contenders for a conference championship and National Title, these are the games where you have to show up.
Defense has to limit the Strong/the running game. Offense needs to play a complete game and minimize turnovers. Won’t get to watch this live unfortunately. Go Dawgs!!
Bettors aren’t too confident in the Dawgs. SDSU is a 14-point favorite on Bovada. Pretty crazy for a top 10 matchup.
