It isn’t that we got beat that was frustrating to me in this game, it’s the absolute lack of execution in this game. I’m thinking of the Jim McKay quote where he was asked about his team’s execution and he replied by saying “I’m all for it.”
I know SIU will do better but I also think there’s lots of trouble down the road if we don’t. Credit to Incarnate Word for the game they played, but SIU didn’t deserve even a competitive game out of this.
