Cool.
i work as a sports reporter at a daily newspaper in North Mississippi and will be there for that. Plan on showing up early, though. May not be entirely sober by kickoff...

I’ll be there.  Kind of excited to check out the campus and stadium.  Not expecting much but Ole Miss isn’t playing for anything this season and are in-between games against Texas Tech and Alabama so maybe SIU can surprise them and make this competitive.

The Ole Miss receivers are probably the best in the country. The offensive line has lots of experience but the talent is meh. They have no experience in the running game, but they only had one back last year and he's gone. Quarterback is good...
Their defense couldn't stop a nosebleed. Any talent they had last season is gone.
Southern should be able to hang 35 on them.
If SIU's defensive line can force some bad throws, it's going to get interesting.
Is there any kind of SIU meet up or anything?

I’ll be there, the group I’m going with is setting up a tailgate in the Grove. We’ve hired an outfit that chooses a spot for you the night before, when the gate opens.  Should be fun,   Go Dawgs !

A.J. Brown is going to be the WR to watch.  All over the preseason award watch lists.

DK Metcalf is just as good, or better. Brown is the deep threat guy and gets all of the attention, Metcalf is faster and more athletic. They complement each other really well. Their quarterback (Jordan Ta'amu) is also really good.
