The speed of the defense looks different this year so far
Two sacks and we get the ball back. I don’t think Peay’s offense is any good, but seeing this performance from the defense is pretty encouraging.

I’m glad to see that we’re up 28-0. Couldn’t have drawn it up any better.
My 2 year old niece is in town and she wanted to go to the fair for a little bit, so I regretfully couldn’t make it. I was considering going down for just, like, an hour of tailgating and the Saluki Walk, but just too crammed of a schedule today.
I hate seeing that we abandoned last names on jerseys. It’s not a “name on the front of the jersey” issue…this isn’t basketball, it’s football with 100+ guys wearing covered up in gladiator uniforms. Learning the two deep and identifying players is a hell of a lot easier with names on jerseys.

I missed the first quarter, but we looked surprisingly dominate in the second. Kudos to James and the rest of the defensive staff for having the defense ready to play after taking over less than one month ago.
Let’s come out strong and bury these guys and get some playing time for the second team. Would be nice after last year’s opening game, huh?
