Hinson worked in the same athletic department as Nick Hill and Hinson was at SIU for 8 years, so this is not surprising. Nothing wrong with him giving a shout out. I'm glad he's gone. He didn't take the bball program where it needed to go and he is a little too folksy for my taste, but when it comes down to it he is a nice person.

That is your opinion, but most people who know him well would strongly disagree with you. I say that while not defending his time, coaching and recruiting at SIU. I base it strictly on the man outside of basketball. He is generally a nice and caring individual.
