I'm guessing this might be the tip of the iceberg.
I'm guessing that will be a very small iceberg.
Bowdoin is a private college in Maine with an enrollment of 1800. It also has an endowment of $1.74 billion. I am sure that the athletics department revenue mean very little to the operation of this institution.
I don’t think athletics will take place at any college this fall......likely not in the spring either

I tend to agree. Even so, I renewed my football season tickets. Basketball ?
Sports (especially football) are going to be too important not to happen at some point. Might get football delayed until Spring and have 25-50% capacity

WASHINGTON — The government announced Monday that international students will not be allowed to stay in the country if the institution in which they're enrolled is holding online-only courses this fall, and those failing to comply with the rules will risk deportation.
Students on F-1 and M-1 visas who face such a situation "must depart the country or take other measures, such as transferring to a school with in-person instruction to remain in lawful status," the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency said in a news release.
