Oh no not squash and synchronized swimming

The Big 10 is looking at his option because they know most of their non conference opponents (including us) will not be playing this fall. There is zero chance fans will be allowed at these games and unless schools have lucrative TV deals, there is no incentive to even try and make this season happen.
Bummer. Really wanted to see the Javon Williams roadkill some Badgers!

I used to love Saluki Field Hockey .. as a spectator, not a player!
Used to play over behind Wham!

I get many of the 11 canceled sports aren't exactly must watch for a lot of people, but there are 20 National Championships in the sports they canceled, and mens volleyball is pretty big in the PAC.
I was making a joke and I understand it is serious. However. What are there like 7 squash teams. How hard could it be to win a natty ?

ok so there are 50 but my point stands
@salukiworld Will Wisconsin honor there contract with SIU. Losing that $500,000 would be a catastrophe for us. Now if we cancel our season they probably wouldn't be liable. One FB player already told me SIU couldn't pay him for all of his scholarship and had to get a job.
@freshman63 You would hope there would be some sort of settlement in SIU's favor. Maybe some cash, but not the whole $500K, and the opportunity to play the Badgers at a future date. But since these games are scheduled so many years in advance, it's not uncommon for these contracts to get bought out.
Looks like the Pac 12 is doing the same:
