I wouldn't sleep on Nicholls. They played a tough schedule (Tulane, TCU, Sac. State). They won't be intimidated playing on the road.
I was there when we were highly ranked and wimpy Eastern Washington came to town and beat us. Usually no such thing as a cakewalk in the playoffs. (unless you get to play Drake - UND 55 Drake 7, SDSU 70 Drake 7, NDSU ?? Drake 0)
I think I wish we got had gotten Youngstown’s spot. Nicholls looks tough. They pretty much tore through the Southland Conference.
To add to that, I saw a graphic that Youngstown was one of the last 4 in.
If that was the case, I don’t understand how the committee gives them that draw (playing a 704 Duquesne team and then #8 Villanova) over us.
Duquensne is not very good. YSU should cruise. Villanova is definitely not as good as Idaho on paper. However, if somehow we get past Nichols and Idaho I would much rather face U Albany, Richmond or NC Central in the quarter finals than SDSU. They do regional travel for first round if they can.

Let's focus first on Nicholls State University. I have a feeling they may be similar to UIW which we unfortunately had issues with last Fall.
