A little Sunday Night Football for the Salukis in Brookings, South Dakota

I'm sure we'll play a lot better this time. Love to skin some jack rabbits!
We'll be heavy underdogs, but Hill should be able to use the beatdown as motivation. I'll be happy if we give them a game.
Not a fan of the start time. I'm on the east coast and that's about my bedtime!
Awesome news the game is on ESPN2 in prime time Sunday! I sure hope Williams is back and that Strong and Elliott are closer to full strength. SDSU is about as bad a match-up for SIU as there is! They have an elite rushing attack and rushing defense is our #1 liability. Also, they can very effectively throw the ball, as shown against us earlier this year, so we can't sell out against the run! Hope we can hang and make it competitive. Go Dawgs!
Another big disadvantage is that with the loss of Chucky Sullivan this week we have lost 3 DL starters this season. Plus Blake P decided not to play this spring after his dominating game against Semo. Not much depth on the DL either. I guess it's next man up and hope for the best.
Good news from the coach during the press conference - Javon Williams is back barring a setback!!!!

NDSU 27 - SHSU 20
The North Dakota at JMU game on ESPN3 is at 6pm ET, and ours is scheduled for 9pm. I'm assuming they won't start ours until after the ND game, in which case I don't think there's any way we kick off at 9pm. Going to be a late night.

Our game is at 8PM central/9PM eastern on ESPN2. It should start on time.
ESPN showed Dawgs as 15.5 point underdogs...largest spread of any of the games. I guess after getting walloped 44-3 that’s what you get. Hopefully we can keep it close until the 4th quarter...then anything can happen. Going to need to score some points and control the clock on Offense, I don’t see our defense fairing well against their run game.
SIU is hosting a watch party at West End (near United Center)
Need to register if you'd like to attend.
