I still wonder what our record would have been with Austin Reed at QB and not Nic Baker.  Baker is not in any NFL camps.

I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!

Baker is 5-9, he was never going to get an ounce of NFL interest.  He did break nearly every SIU passing record though and led them to the playoffs 2 different seasons

Reed led two nice touchdown drives against Kansas City tonight. he definitely looks good enough to be an NFL back up imo.

I'll go out on a limb and predict the upset over BYU. Southern will not be intimidated by the away game environment and will in fact relish it. BYU has little idea of how either Saluki QB will play and with a strong defensive effort by SIU, Nick Hill's squad could keep this a relatively low scoring game. The longer the Salukis hang around, the more likely the upset. I'll take SIU in a nail biter and its first Big 12 Conference win. Go Dawgs!
