My guess is SIU doesn't have the money to hire top level people strength and conditioning people like what Loyola or the Dakota schools have.

I completely agree. There are enough QBs on this roster to give more than one a good look. The season is long over and we should try to start building something for next year.

Barry shouldn't have any excuses. It's the best team he's fielded since he's been in Carbondale. That being said, I have no faith the little B.S. artist can pull an appearance in the NCAA Tournament or the NIT out of his hat.
