After completing this head-scratcher of a non-conference effort, how many games (of the 8 on the schedule) do you comfortably believe the Salukis will win in the MVFC portion of the schedule? NOTE: The Salukis will need to win AT LEAST 6 more games to qualify for the playoffs.

PS -- I tried to build a poll but the software wouldn't let me.

I predict 6. I think we take ND, IL State, WIU, SD, UNI, and Youngstown State. But I’m also banking on the fact that we’ve figured this thing out for the rest of the year. Obviously a big question mark.

Last weekend was a great win, but this team hasn't convinced me that they're ready to compete with the upper echelon of the MVFC yet.

Next Saturday should tell us a lot, and it's a huge game.

North Dakota has a good win over UNI, and had a bye week this week, so they should be prepared for us. We'll be coming off a huge high from the win this weekend and could be set up for a hangover.

This one scares me.

I agree...not 100% convinced yet either. They need to show it more than one week. It's nice to know that this team CAN play like we all thought coming in to the season, now we just need the consistency.

This is a critical game...defense has to show up again. It feels like the offense is starting to get their feet under them (really great to see how the offensive line performed, especially in pass blocking). UND looks like a solid team. Two quality wins and both were tight down the stretch, so they've shown they can win close games.

If SIU can get a win here, then I feel like they still have a shot to make the playoffs, although still a tall task (really wish they would have closed out that SEMO game...although one could argue they did twice).

UND wasn't on bye last week BTW they went to Norther Arizona and beat them on a last minute drive for a TD 27-24.
