New placekicker for SIU is Griffin Cerra.
SIU winning 49-28 in the 4th. Didn’t watch most of it but during the 4th quarter the announcers said something about turnovers helping SIU out.
Watched the game on ESPN+. Salukis played great today. Matt DeSomer played great in his 3rd consecutive start, and that includes passing. Stayed calm, tough, in total control of that offense. Makes me think he should have been playing a lot more a long time ago. Some of those drives were as good as any drives we had all year - marching right down field mixing the pass and run and scoring very quickly. That 3rd quarter might be the best quarter we've played this year. Defense was very tough against the run and also pressured their QB.
