For safety reasons, they should just play all games after January. Hopefully have a vaccine by then.
Split season seems crazy.
Play over winter break. Students will be gone and adult fans can decide if they want to attend or not.

MAC cancels Fall season:
Big 10 meets today! "The Big Ten presidents are scheduled to meet on Saturday afternoon and discuss the league’s 2020 future, sources told Yahoo Sports. There’s some momentum among league presidents to cancel the fall season. But it’s unknown if there’s enough for a decision to be made immediately."

“There are people that have symptoms, and have had a few visits to the ER for some IVs and a little more clarity,” Shildt told the radio station."
Mixed signals from the Big 12.
1) Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby on college football season: Decisions haven’t been made yet ...
1) Bowlsby says he expects the Big 12 football schedule to be completed this week.
2) The Big 12 Board of Directors will meet Tuesday night (08/11/20) to discuss football plans.
All signs point to Big Ten football canceling this fall: It was only a matter of time
If the Big 10 cancels, I think they all will. Without Ohio St this Fall, the FBS is going to want the playoffs in the Spring IMO.
With the Big 10 deciding to move to the Spring, I think it's just a matter of time for the rest of them. The SEC might be the one holdout to go ahead and play because they have so much money on the line with CBS and ESPN.
B1G and PAC-10 are postponing the season, sounds like MVFC has cancelled.

Looks like Nebraska still wants to play this Fall if we’re looking to receive a boost to the budget 😂

After telling a group of Nebraska Cheerleaders the big N stood for knowledge, and they replied "Oh, that's cool, I never heard that one"
I would guess Nebraska wants to get bowl season over so they can be ready for spring planting.

It's not like we're winning anything this year. Schedule 4 of these games.

North Dakota State is playing Central Arkansas on Oct 3rd
Central Arkansas has scheduled 9 games. Home and home series with Mo. St. and E. Kentuck!
And then they're going to play conference in the Spring??
Sounds like N.D. St. is playing the game to showcase Trey Lance, who is projected as a 1st round pick and so probably won't play in the Spring. Cent. Arkie, picked to win their league, is going to get lit up by Lance.
Cent. Ark. lost in the playoffs last year to the
Big 10 just capitulated, SEC shamed them into it.
