Lifeless football in the second half.
I know the injuries aren’t helping matters, but we should still be able to beat Indiana State.
Hezakiah has been terrible today.
If they lose this game, WR drops and turnovers.
Our receivers are really disappointing. Seemed really promising after game 3 but not great since.
I think we can beat Murray, but I don't see another win on the schedule.
Heads need to roll after this. F*cking embarrassing to lose to this high school program.
Salukis lose 20-17
Why do coaches always play not lose instead of playing to win when they have a big lead at the half
That’s a tough loss…beat ourselves today. Refs sure didn’t help.
What has happened? This is a team that won a game in the playoffs last year. I know injuries have played a part, but this team was ranked in the preseason. They look nothing like the teams of the past few years.
I understand turnovers and penalties don't help but when you tense up bad things happen play aggressive and people relax and play with confidence

They're on their 4th string QB, a true Freshman. That being said, this was not a playoff team with a fully healthy team. They struggled with an Austin Peay team that stinks this year and probably lose if they don't fumble in the open field.

I respectfully disagree here. The offense looked like they were finally putting things together with DJ against UIW. I firmly believe they get 7 wins this year if they stay somewhat healthy which gets them in the playoffs.
Indiana State had no business winning today, but when you turn it over at critical points and drop multiple touchdown throws, that’s what happens.
I think Hill and company really need to look at their recruiting last couple of years. May be relying on the portal waaayyyy too much. This reminds me of Lennon teams - a few really good talents and a lot of so-so players.
I also feel like some guys on this team halfway gave up after the first few games and are not playing up to their potential. There is no excuse for losing to a really bad Sycs team that is 6 - 24 the last three years and has only beaten non-schollie Dayton and awful Murray State prior to today.
Embarrassing as !@#$
Crazy to see all the drops. Our O line even when healthy is average at best. Returned a lot of guys, but not enough talent on the returnees. Then add the injuries and you're really screwed. D line didn't return anyone and it showed. Never got pressure on the opposing QB all year. We have good linebackers and safeties, but again the injuries killed us there too. D backs were average. We had good players at skill positions, probably good enough to sneak into the playoffs if DJ stays healthy and you don't lose quite as many as we lost due to injuries. We would have needed to outscore opponents each week and I think we would have been capable to do that just enough for 7 or 8 wins, but with the injuries we will never know. It's basketball season.
We had this game won. Came out 2nd half with a half-assed effort, lack of concentration, and not a great desire to win. Hill needs to kick some butts, including his own I'm afraid!
