Northwestern is 1-1, coming off a surprising 23-31 loss to Duke at home, after beating Nebraska in Dublin in the opener.
Fitzgerald will undoubtedly have Northwestern ready to play after last week's loss, so I don't feel good about Southern's chances of surprising them.
We'll need to shore up just about everything, esp. the secondary, offensive line, and penalties, if we want to make this one competitive. We're averaging an absurd 93 penalty yards per game so far this season.
A line hasn't been released yet, but I'd guess we're 17-21 point dogs in this one.

Their stud RB Hull was running in the tying TD when he fumbled on the 1/2 yard line and Duke recovered. Should coulda woulda gone to OT.
Nebraska and Duke are both horrible. So it doesn’t say much for Northwestern; however, SIU is still light years away from competing with the bottom feeders of the Big 10.
