Looks like Baker and SL have the upper hand after team camp. Norton and Zebrowski battling for QB3 and even Foss getting reps.

Color me surprised (and a little disappointed). I was sure SL was going to be the guy.

Kind of feel the same. SL was obviously the better QB in the spring. However, maybe Baker has really put in the work and improved. Guess we'll find out soon enough!

Let's hope Nic plays like he did against NDSU and not like he did against UND...those ints are killers. Better arm but can he be as accurate as SL?

Really like the ballsy way SL ran the team, and I won't be surprised to see him back there at some point.

SL and NB both had their ups and downs last year. Thankfully more ups. Defense looks much improved and the RB room is deep. Need to take care of business in games we are the favorites and hope we beat a few when we are the underdogs. We can’t rely on missed chip shot FGs by Northern Iowa, we can’t let MSU go up and down the field and we can’t let teams like Youngstown hang around.

Nic was ahead of Stone last year both got an opportunity because of injury I believe most people favor Stone because of a larger sample size of games played and his excellent showing in the playoffs but we should be fine with either but the most important thing is hopefully the team rallies around Nic and we have no distractions

Baker is a playmaker, I’m not surprised at all.

Unbelievable. I get he's upset at not being QB1 to start the season, but you have to think there's a good chance he'd still get some playing time this year.

This stings quite a bit. I had high hopes for SL.

It's been more than once that Nick has given someone an opportunity over Stone. You know how many times Lyles was given chances over Stone? Too many. I don't blame him for being upset, I'm sure I'd feel the same. Wish he'd have stayed as I thought he'd probably end up starting but it is what it is. Next man up mentality! Still as excited about the season as ever

Nic Baker has a bigger upside. Stone L was great at short passes and sideline passes, but the runs after catch by our talented receivers padded his stats tremendously! He was a gamer, but I'm glad Baker got the nod. Hope one of the freshman transfers, or the redshirt can step up as the #2. The talent is there for the backups, just not the experience.

Labanowitz seemed like he got hot at the right time in Spring at the end of the season and I'm proud of what he did but he might not even be the 3rd or 4th most talented QB on the roster (this isn't a shot at him at all, more a credit to the amount of QB depth this team has right now).  I wish him well.
