What is our $ take from tonight?
I think $425 k
Just enough to pay off Liz.
Not complaining, just a few observations. It took 3 quarters until we finally tried a pass over the middle. I get tired of the down and out for 2 yards. Poor play calling…we need to get the ball in Williams hands. He made an 8 yard run and then didn’t touch the ball in our last 3 possessions. We needed an A performance to win, but couldn’t grade better than B for the most part. QBs on both sides had poor days.

I think a big difference in he Semo and KSU games was our receivers. At Semo they got open at will. At KSU, they couldn't get open. Nic would search and search for a receiver with no luck. They covered Cox like a blanket. Their DB's were awfully talented where SEMO's were really bad.
@freshman63 Were they wide open within 3 seconds of the snap? QB getting smothered at 3 seconds yesterday.

Stanford scores 42 points against # 14 USC yesterday and only 7 against KSU last week. Says something about KSU defense.
@valleyfb $450K. A chunk of which SIU will pay to Dayton in order to be able to afford the 5th home game this season.
I now know the reason that our receivers didn't get open. Nick said KSU used a 3 safety set to bottle up our receivers and it worked.
Hill said KSU did some things on defense that surprised them (or something to that effect).
Bengals did the same thing last week. ( https://theathletic.com/2829296/2021/09/16/why-the-bengals-3-safety-set-worked-and-how-ricardo-allens-injuries-affect-it/)
We did Not adjust, and I still think our play calling was not great. Very little surprise or deception in our play calling IMO.
Maybe we learned something.
