HeroSports.com has SEMO winning 48-35. Last year we gave up 47. I simply don't believe that our defense is going to be as bad as it was under Paulson. FYI -- Paulson is coaching the DLine at Sacramento State. As absolutely and historically horrible as our DLines were under Paulson, I can't image anybody hiring this guy to coach the DLine. Our new defensive coaches got rid of a lot of the players who, frankly, couldn't play. They brought in a few players who should be large improvement. Holy shineola, certainly couldn't be worse. And one would think that with SEMO missing a couple of its starters on offense, they shouldn't score as many as last year. I'm going with the Dawgs on top 42-35.

We've got a lot of new players, including at QB. Real nervous about this one. Hope we have more talent. Dawgs by 3.
If you've checked the SEMO football site, they had nice articles previewing the Oline, RBs, QBs, etc. Be nice to see such previews from SIU. Seems like we've gone tweety - yuck!
I'm going with The Dawgs by 17. Nick Hill & Co. better have a huge chip on their shoulder after last season's embarrasing loss. Not to mention the fact that SIU's schedule doesn't get any easier. This may be their best possibility for a win in the first 3 or 4 games of the season.

QB has been fine. Passes right on! We should be up by three TDs. Tipped pass at the line of scrimmage and stupid penalty to negate Kilby's TD.
