Well, that was fun.

These guys haven’t stopped busting ass despite a disappointing season.

It’ll be nice to have some momentum going into the offseason.

Ya know what? I say screw etiquette and sportsmanship. Bury these F-ers! I wanna see 80.

Sorry - I'm really not all that fond of Murray.

62 - 0!  8:41 to go.  Lots of freshmen playing.

Murray has 134 yards total!

Great story from today's game:  Defensive end Joe Brumleve from Cobden played and was in on a sack.  Cobden doesn't have a football team, but Joe walked on last year in, I believe, his junior year at SIU.  He's a big (6'5", 260), strong, athletic kid, and he's really coachable.

He was an excellent basketball player at Cobden and I had hoped he would walk on to the basketball team.

He's such a great kid--polite and articulate, National Honor Society, Beta Club (I'm sure he helped the team GPA, too!)  Comes from a great family--I graduated h.s. with his uncle, taught at Cobden with his dad, and coached his mom in junior high basketball.

Although he's listed as a red-shirt freshman, this is his senior year in school and he got to participate in the senior day activities.

It's a little Rudy-ish!

@resaluki-88

Very nice comments and observation. Nice to see a good guy rewarded as did many other players in this game. Perseverance does pay off.

Many, many accolades to spread out among the players yesterday. The true character of this team was tested early and often throughout the season. But one cannot say enough about the job Nick Hill and his staff performed against Murray State. I have no idea how they delivered this kind of a win with so many players being shifted around to make things work. Love the way our QB praised Coach Hill and the program. Makes you proud to be a Saluki.

totally agree - he threw some great passes in that game. Shame he had so many injuries.
