This may be in a different thread but I noticed there was mention of Labanowitz leaving the program after Baker was named the starting QB.  Don't doubt Baker will do well, but losing Labanowitz takes away some quality depth at the position.

Yes it does. A guy who understands the offense  and had success as a starter. Major loss. Throw in freshman transfer Lindauer out for the season with injury and that QB room thinned out

Wow. Sorry to hear that and a bit surprised since after last year everybody should know that anything can happen and it is truly a team sport where an injury to a starter means next man up. Don't know how Nick made the decision, if it was close or clear-cut that Baker stood out by a healthy margin, but this hurts the team's depth for sure. Hoping the guys can rally behind coach Hill and the staff and put this bit of drama behind them.

If anyone has any doubt about staying instead of leaving when you don't  when a competition should read the story of McKenzie Milton former QB for UCF who transfered to FSU lost the QB competition got his chance and almost led FSU to an unbelievable comeback against  Notre Dame
