Anybody up for doing tailgates this year? Either in Carbondale or maybe even up in DeKalb, if we get a decent group up there? We had some pretty nice ones back in the old SalukiTalk days.
This will be the first time I'll be in town for a season in over 20 years.
Unfortunately, I can't make the first two home games, but hope to make the SDSU game on Oct 21.

Homecoming tailgate has been pretty good the last few years. I think it will be crazy if we come in to this game with a good record and SDSU handles their business as well. The tailgate doesn't always translate to butts in the seats though.
I know some people want a cupcake on Homecoming to guarantee a win, I much prefer a big time game (of course I still want to win 😀).
If you're of that vintage, the "Carbondale in the 80's and 90's" Facebook group will have a HUGE tailgate party at Homecoming, which is that weekend.
