Sickening. Gave that one away. Up 17 points in the 4th quarter. Shit*y refs didn't help.
Up 31 - 17 and starting at the 35, Mixon gets a clean handoff and just drops the ball - WIU recovers and scores a TD.
WIU gets it back and, aided by 4 or 5 penalties on SIU, scores to tie it. Penalty on the SIU sideline was bullsh*t. Also a very questionable facemask penalty, and one of the pass interference calls was probably offensive pass interference.
Nullified our fumble recovery - that game would have been over.
Gotta feel for Nick. Fumbles , three penalties and over. He is getting quality athletes. May need to run a common sense test before offering schollies.
