Jaylen DeVries entered the transfer portal. He came to us as a QB, but last year changed to TE with our seemingly deep QB room. He didn't play much. I think he wants to transfer and play QB somewhere. He is the son of longtime Detroit Lions DE Jared DeVries and nephew of Drake head bball coach Darian Devries. I wonder if he may transfer to FCS non scholarship Drake to play QB. Best of luck to him and I hope he finds a home where he gets lots of PT. He was an elite high school QB in Iowa.

Sounds like Hartrup and Bush are staying put after testing the portal opportunities.
1 for 2 ain’t bad. Hope Bush is next to follow suit. Lots of kids get left in the portal. I’d bet far more than the number who get signed. Hartrup is at the perfect level. Can be a stud and have opportunities after college.
