Have to admit I stopped following this one when it was 28-0, figuring it was a lost cause. When I checked in again, there was less than a minute left and SIU was up. I had to double-check to make sure it wasn't a typo. It was a nervous time after that as Youngstown drove down the field and the Salukis tried to hold on, but hold on they did. One of the best things about this, along with making an epic comeback and ending a losing streak, is that one of my former co-workers went to YSU and he's held bragging rights over me for a few years now. Will be fun to bring up this one the next time I see him.
I never turn off a game early. I did today. Happened to check in with about a minute to go and watched the end. This was incredible! Good for the team!
I think Luke blew out a microphone there! LOL Love it!
Last three quarters of this game were really fun to watch. Go DAWGS!
While it is always difficult to replace a legend aka Mike Reis but Luke Martin seems to be transitioning nicely and the behind the scenes look at the excitement he brings is just truly tremendous and love all of the features he is bringing to the broadcast of every sport he is involved in
Martin is an elite commentator. I love his passion. I hope SIU can hold onto him for a long time.
Anyone see SportsCenter? SIU got airtime on SVP's Bad Beats segment
Nothing like free publicity for the program
