The old site(s) had a feature that prohibited a certain number of quotes within a thread. That would be a great feature to add: when there's an argument going on between two posters, an entire page can be taken up with quotes within quotes, and it sucks.

It was more the 3+ pages of back and forth about whether Coupet was a high impact player or just a regular old impact player. I swear by the end a one-line response was taking up half the page because of all the quotes within quotes within quotes . . .
Maybe it's just a problem on my phone.

It's not just your phone. I use a desktop most of the time and it is a tad annoying. I don't know how you would pick and choose which quotes are kept and which ones get tossed though.
It's confusing to even find who said what when it gets that long.

mvcfans has it where you can only have 3 quotes. Not sure if Wordpress has the same functionality as phpBB, the forum builder mvcfans uses.
I found the setting to do this, but it is not working as intended.
A friend is going to send me some code to embed that might work as a workaround.
