During a discussion with some fellow SIU alums recently this question came up, "How much does it cost for a full year at SIU-room, board, tuition, etc.?" Can anyone tell us?

My son graduated in the last 5 years or so. I think the bill was around $23,000 before grants and scholarships and whatever goes with it. I know he got a discount on his tuition because I am an alum. That was something fairly new when he went to school.

SIU gives out a lot of scholarship money so the price tag on that website isn’t necessarily indicative of what a typical student pays. This website shows the scholarship tiers incoming students automatically qualify for based on GPA.
