The Towers are no longer slated for demolition. The university will invest in improvements instead.

i don't know for sure but i would take it as a sign that they are anticipating higher freshman enrollment.
The Towers are nice and modern on the inside, but it would be nice if they could do some renovation to the outside so that they don’t look like Chicago housing projects.
I'd put as little money as is necessary in those eyesores. They're from an era when these state Univs were in love with the fugly tower - (NIU, ISU, U of I has em too)
ISU doesn't have much choice, very little real estate
