started talking about this on twitter after ESPN bracketology had UNI as the lone team in the dance as a 13 seed.
My feelings is MO State is the clear favorite with potential for a decent seed.
loyola,ILSU,Bradley,UNI ,Drake should challenge.
Evansville,SIU and Valpo have a bunch of talent but hard to gauge how they will gel
Indiana State is in deep trouble
1. Bradley

8. Evansville/Valpo
10. Indiana St.
11. Wichita St.
12. Creighton
13. West Texas St.
14. New Mexico St.
Lol you are entitled to your opinion but you have checked out who Mo State has coming in right ?

11. Wichita St.

When did west texas st and new mexico st rejoin the conference?
I still think the thing with MO State is they have some new key pieces on the roster as well that, while it looks real good on paper, is no guarantee they'll gel. Bradley is a known commodity and will probably be preseason favorites. This is how I see things shaping up by seasons end:
1. Bradley
2. Mo State
3. Drake
4. UNI
5. SIU/Loyola
7. Il State
8. Evansville
9. Valpo
10. In State
--Insert something witty here--
I won't do a full set of predictions just yet until we know who's eligible, etc., but a few general thoughts:
1. Missouri State, Loyola and Bradley deserve to be considered the top three, preseason. I would give Mo State the nod as preseason favorite but I can see how all the newcomers would give people pause.
2. I'm a big believer in De Vries based on last year's unforeseen success, and they return a pretty nice core, so I'd be inclined to slot Drake fourth.
3. As mentioned in another thread, the race to avoid Thursday is going to be more challenging than usual. No clear bottomfeeders ... Evansville and SIU both have new-look but interesting rosters, Valpo has a potentially impressive big three with Freeman, Fazekas and the St. Joe's transfer, and I wouldn't rule out Indiana State exceeding expectations if Barnes has a bounce-back year and they can get serviceable frontcourt play. Key could be a POY candidate.
1. Bradley
2. Loyola
3. Mo. State
4. SIU/UNI
6. Drake/Redturd St.
8. Evansville/Valpo
10. Indiana St.
11. Wichita St.
12. Creighton
13. West Texas St.
14. New Mexico St.When did west texas st and new mexico st rejoin the conference?
Next year, they'll be replacing Redturd St, who is joining the Big 10, and Missouri St, who is joining the SEC!
W. Texas will be tough in football - Mercury Morris has been given another year of eligibility.
Creighton and Wichita have to forfeit all games for being pretentious aholes!
Lol you are entitled to your opinion but you have checked out who Mo State has coming in right ?
If I remember correctly, the Big 10 champs Mich. St. made 25 of 26 FTs. That's the only reason they beat Bradley in the NCAA.
Bradley has their whole starting lineup coming back plus a transfer guard from LSU and a guard from Spain. Don't know about eligibility. Darrell Brown will be a stud.
MoST has a good transfer forward who averaged 9 ppg at WVU and a good transfer JC guard coming in. One of their good freshmen recruits isn't coming - will still be in high school - may never qualify. Several other transfers. And DaSilva.
Lol Bradley was ass last year.
We had our entire starting lineup back last year. Look how that turned out.

LOL! Who won the MVC tournament? Bradley (or maybe Drake) was the best team in the MVC by the end of the year. Drake lost their big guy to injury and that killed them. Bradley started out the MVC 0 - 5. Greatly improved by the end of the year. Guess you didn't see the Michigan State game! If they improve, and maturing teams usually do with a decent coach (unlike SIU last year), they'll be tough.

Bradley graduated at least one full-time starter (Lautier-Ogunleye) and a couple others who started some games. They do bring most of their firepower back, but not all five starters.
I would be absolutely shocked if Bradley didn't win 14-16 MVC games next year. They are loaded. Going to be tough for anyone to steal the lone tourney bid from them.
1.Bradley
2. Drake
3. MO State
4. Loyola
5. UNI
6. SIU
7. ISUr
8. Valpo
9. Evansville
10. ISUb
This is tough. Lots of unknown in the conference. I am really hopeful that Bradley, Drake and Missouri State could be good enough in non conference to be at least in the at large conversation. That being said, here is how I see things shaking out as of now.
1. Missouri State
2. Bradley
3. Drake
4. Loyola
5. UNI
6. Evansville

I’ll be curious to see how the Mullins-less Ramblers look this season. They lost Custer and Townes but should be much deeper overall with a big recruiting class coming in, including a couple well-regarded JUCO guards and an Illinois Wolves-centric prep class. Obviously Krutwig should be a beast as an upperclassman and a healthy Lucas Williamson could be an all-Valley type player. I also liked Cooper Kaifes, who will be a sophomore sharpshooter.
