I think moving the game was shitty, but I get what they are doing. Ford needs a good tournament run, especially with his group this year. They are positioning for an at large with their scheduling. Although I think SIU will be a decent squad this year, Drake looks poised to be a tourney team again and would seem to be more of a sure thing in terms of NET ranking. Plus a neutral site game vs an away game.
Hopeful after this year we return to the home and home moving forward.

Yeah it sucks in the short-term but it might be even better of a game in 2022 with SIU hopefully taking that next step.

SLU game got pushed to next year because we play in a conference game on Dec. 1, which was the date when we were to have played SLU. I don’t know what’s up with that conference game on that date. Also, Bryan talked about non-conference games at the open house yesterday, no mention of Murray.

You're right. I missed that. No mention of Murray at all. He also said that we have a couple of contracts to finish up. I know there is a home game coming on November 12th but he mentioned one of those contracts being used for a home opener before the 12th.

I think the earlier conference games are COVID precautions in case of cancellations. Would give them more open dates during the normal conference season to reschedule games.

It's Heff not sure why he just don't ask. I know scheduling is hard but it is part of the job. I always want to see at least name programs at the Arena doesn't have to be power 5 schools but I don' t usually get to excited to see the sisters of the poor teams either. IF you are going to play weak schools at least make them regional and I hate it when we play non-D1 schools. Hearing we are going to play one again.

They’ve been a decent team lately but lost Terry Taylor to the NBA.
