Speaking of former Salukis...Darius Beane is in the transfer portal again.
I thought he'd be more impactful in the MAC than what he's been these past couple years.
Guessing his next move will again be tied to wherever his dad latches on after the recent coaching change in DeKalb.

His dad has worked for 2 coaches that have been fired/forced to resign. Is it time to stop following Dad around?
You really have to respect the hell out of Gonzaga.
Mark Few could go anywhere in the country. Not only does he decline, he lets 'em talk straight to the hand! And the Zags have controlled the WCC for almost 25 years now and decide to stay with the likes of San Francisco and Pepperdine, instead of always chasing greener grass like the tomfoolery of today's clown world.
Couldn't agree more. And while I understand Aaron Cook's decision and wanted to see him experience a National Championship, I to admit a part of me felt betrayed by his lack of loyalty to Southern. Sure, he got to play a role this season, good for him. But was it just my imagination as I watched the Zag's play that he was still the new kid in the class trying to fit in. Did anybody else notice the timeout when one of the Zag starters (I think it was Timmer) ignored his high five? Maybe the other guy didn't see it, maybe it was just my imagination. But he gave up a for sure leadership role and all the PT he could handle to be a 9 min a game player. OK. Finished eating my sour grapes. But the precedent has been set. Let's hope that we don't start seeing an alarming trend of players looking for those greener pastures more and more. It's nothing more than a type of free agency.
Sure didn't sit well with me at all. Didn't get all the adoration for a guy who was not a great player for us but maybe thought he was too good for us? And us with a good new coach who isn't a heat-seeking moisture missile of a human being? Would people have felt the same if Darren Brooks (a far, far better player) had split for greener pastures his last year? Give me Lance Jones any day of the week (unless he transfers!! LOL)
That said, I wanted the Zags to win because I think Mark Few is a heck of a guy and a heck of a coach and deserves it! (Don't feel bad that Bryce Drew and Baylor won it all though. That's another upstanding coach.) Just so glad it wasn't slimy Kansas, Duke, or UNC.
You forgot Kentucky.
Sure did! Correction: super slimy Kentucky, slimy Kansas, Duke, or UNC! LOL

I actually watched parts of some of the NIU games - what an awful team! At the end of the year, he wasn't playing that much. Fact is, he was not a 3* recruit in my opinion - not much of a shooter, good rebounder for a guard! Anthony was a far better player!
Paul Lusk is back with Painter
University of Cincinnati fired John Brannen following an internal investigation initiated after 6 players announced they were transferring. That should put the kibosh in any remaining Domask to Cincinnati speculation that was previously mentioned on other MVC fan websites. Also, former Drake head coach Keno Davis was fired at Central Michigan.

Bet Domask is glad Brannen bolted Northern Kentucky for Cincy right about now

I hate it too. I thought they originally talked about giving a "one time" pass for each player. I didn't see anything like that in this article. So if a player wants to play at 4 schools in 4 years, he can? Does anyone else get that feeling from this??

My understanding is that athletes can transfer "once" without sitting out a year but if they transfer more than once they will have to sit out a year.
