Goodness, Drake has themselves a really good basketball team. Hope they keep it going!

Awesome win by Drake! What a great game! Time to tune in to Shockernet to see how they’re taking a loss to the Valley...

Hate to see Wichita State losing to the 2nd best team in the conference when they left the Valley to push them further.  2 MVC teams left, 1 AAC team.

I dont blame the Shockers for trying to move up in the world, but unlike Creighton which made a sort of slam dunk move I really dont feel long term the AAC will actually be an improvement.  Realistically at some point it may become a downgrade if the BCS conferences ever come raiding again

must be pretty embarrassing to lose to a lowly valley team who hadn't won an ncaa game in 50 years. 🤣

i do blame them for trashing the league before and after they left.  creighton was respectful.  wichita left like the trash they are. marshall abused the league like it was one of his own players.

Give it time, I do think karma will get them.  AAC already lost UCONN, feel its a matter of time before Houston and/or Cincinnati get picked up. Then what will they be left with?  Wallowing in a dying football conference with no football team and decaying NCAA prospects

Houston was pretty much the only thing keeping the AAC relevant this year.  They've been looking to move up for awhile because of football.  Cincinnati has seen like 6 transfers in the last week and look like a dumpster fire.  Memphis gets recruits with Penny Hardaway but hasn't shown he can coach.

Yea Cincinnati is down right now, but they have a strong history I dont think they will say strong forever.  Cincinnati, Houston, and Memphis will all eagerly jump ship the first chance they get, Im honestly surprised the Big 12 hasnt gobbled up two of them for the sake of regaining twelve members.  Its going to be a hilarious day when the AAC ends up worse than the MVC

When Houston and Cincy leave the AAC, how many bandwagon Shux fans will stay inspired to travel to East Carolina and Tulane?

Oh well, at least by then, their $60million football program should be up and running, right Shux?

Do Not forget that leaving the MVC had everything to do with a h o l e Marshall thinking they were too good for the MVC. And then Loyola went to the Final Four and then a Drake team beats them minus their two best players!!!

I think they beat USC!
