GO DAWGS!
Always like your teasing post’s .
Are they winnable and at home
Are they winnable and at home
Hopefully, just about every game this year is winnable.
March on triumphantly!

Well heck! What will we complain about then?

I'm hearing that Kentucky and Gonzaga are coming to Carbondale. The Gonzaga deal is a 2 for 1. 2 in the Dale and 1 at their place.
Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!

Several Valley schools have already announced their Non-conference schedules hopefully SIU will announce theirs soon hoping for a few surprises.
Bring on the surprise additions to the 2022 - 2023 schedule! Hopefully we get some quality home games out of whatever this deal is.
@barkeep-1967 I agree not sure what the problem is but the home schedule is not looking good again. As I stated before hoping for at least one surprise of a good quality home non-conference game.
You're not excited about Alcorn State??
You're not excited about Alcorn State??
It’s not quite top 10 Butler lol
Hard to believe that the previous coaches schedule’s were better.
I'm not impressed with a lot of non-conference Valley schedules this year. Illinois State's might be the worst yet.
It's tough to get teams to Carbondale and nobody is expecting anything amazing but you can be creative and get good home games.
Northern Iowa's schedule is easily the best in the Valley I've seen so far and it's not like it's easy for teams to get to Cedar Falls, Iowa. UNI is getting an American team (granted USF was dead last in the AAC in 21-22) and a really good St Bonaventure team this year at home. And then on top of that they're going to Richmond and Virginia and still getting San Francisco and Wichita State/Grand Canyon neutral site. And Towson might be good this year too.
To be fair it’s still (slightly) early for the finalization of non-conference schedules. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was announced this week and also wouldn’t be surprised if it was announced first week of September. I’m hoping that the delay is a good thing and that we’re working to finalize a contract with a big opponent. After seeing Illinois State’ non-conference schedule, I’m hoping it can’t get any worse than that.
