Okay, so I thought I'd give this a shot despite it being a near impossibility to guess who's fully transformed roster(s) will come together and MAJORLY surprise in the Valley, but I'm confident at least one or two teams WILL do just that.

1. Drake - easy pick

2.  SIU - not feeling good about this after the exhibitions but I think while Wonders or Ebube may not meet the high expectations of many here, at least 2 of the newcomers will really surprise.

3. Belmont - very system oriented team so while they have to replace a lot, it's easier to do so with a "system".

4. Bradley - Mast injury was a factor here

5. Northern Iowa - Giving Jacobson the benefit of the doubt here

6. Murray State - Another surprise here

7. Missouri State

8. Indiana State

9. Illinois State

10. Valpo

11. Evansville

12. UIC

I like Belmont I really do. They are so young though and the Valley is a huge step up.

my personal feeling is that any and all previews, from any year, must begin with bradley and illinois state at the bottom. it's like building a house.  you make that your foundation, and you build everything up from there.

I’m with you Bobber but the gap between them and 4 is pretty big.
