Good luck on your recovery Cade!
It will be interesting to see how the frontcourt shakes out going forward, with Rupert, Ebube, Hensley and Hornecker all eligible to return next season. Doubt all four come back, but we'll see. Love having at least three decent-or-better bigs in the mix from a depth standpoint.
As for Cade ... it's been a frustrating two seasons, and he'll have a lot of rust to shake off once he mends. Too bad, because he's been a great teammate on the bench and, as the cliche goes, 7-footers don't grow on trees. Especially 7-footers with shooting touch.
I believe all 4 will be back as according to the people behind the scenes is that they all like it here so maybe the culture of family that Brian wants is here because during games some guys who don't get a great amount of playing always seem the first off the bench to congratulate their teammates and nobody seems to hang there head like Wonders last year but we shall seeIt will be interesting to see how the frontcourt shakes out going forward, with Rupert, Ebube, Hensley and Hornecker all eligible to return next season. Bryan doesn't get enough credit for the culture he has built. His biggest priority at the beginning of the summer workouts is to have the players bond and hang out together. These guys are close, as has been every team Bryan has coached. Even almost all the guys who have left (Fillewich, Banks, Verplancken, Jones, Domask) were very close with their teammates, and in most cases still keep in close contact with them. We haven't been affected by the portal quite as much as most teams and that has everything to do with the closeness of the players. Also, they have been outstanding academically overall and very good citizens. If he can get over the hump and put together a championship level team with mostly great kids it will be quite an accomplishment.I believe all 4 will be back as according to the people behind the scenes is that they all like it here so maybe the culture of family that Brian wants is here because during games some guys who don't get a great amount of playing always seem the first off the bench to congratulate their teammates and nobody seems to hang there head like Wonders last year but we shall seeIt will be interesting to see how the frontcourt shakes out going forward, with Rupert, Ebube, Hensley and Hornecker all eligible to return next season. @resaluki-88 I agree with you 100%. It’s really easy to pull for his teams.
