I could see Mullins landing at DePaul or UIC, I could see both being quite happy with the better winning coach... plus he could have a better shot at recruiting from the Wolves AAU program.That's the best hire DePaul could make realistically. An awfully tough job but there's a ton of talent in the city and if someone can tap into it they can turn it around. I think common perception this is where Mullins ends up too obviously

Not a bad place to be an assistant for a bit....might get another shot at a smaller school.

Mullins landing the HC job at DePaul isn't happening, but as an Assistant Coach position there for Moser or whoever might get the job would be a great fit and a win-win for both parties.
I could see Mullins winning the HC slot at UIC though, or again easily over-qualified for an Assistant role there.
