I spend a decent amount of time in the Colorado Mountains at elevations ranging from 8k to 11,500. The elevation affects everyone differently. I can ski the day I arrive, but I know folks that have to acclimate at least one day and sometimes more. Once I'm out there for for a few days I really don't see that much of a difference and I've played basketball out there at 8100 feet many times. Once he gets acclimated it may not make that much of a difference. He will however need to consciencely get in better shape.@jabman62 he is going to struggle so much in the mountain west. The bugs are way more athletic and it’s at elevation. I’d be shocked if he got more than a few min and transferred out to another league
Money talks. The friendship between him and Wonders that was so strong never comes to fruition on the court. This isn’t a shot at Scottie, just shows you that there’s no such thing as knowing what’s going to happen in college basketball anymore. With coaches or players. Everyone’s on a one year deal.
He's following Monaghan. Monaghan is the reason he went to GB. I'm not sure Wonders had anything to do with it.Money talks. Good luck, Scottie. You’re going to need it.
From what I've heard, Scottie was going to leave if Mullins had stayed. Then, at least it seemed that, he was wanted here by the staff and still chose to leave. When he was a Saluki, I might have been one of his biggest fans. He is no longer a Saluki and therefore, he is just another player that I am indifferent to. That being said, while I will not be actively rooting for him, I do think that he will be a factor despite the step up in conference, especially if he pushes himself.

Absolutely but there was much made out of him and Wonders pairing back up from Green Bay people. As i mentioned, my point had nothing to do with Scottie. It was about how everything said and written about how much players love being brothers and love the town .. it means very little. They may be gone a month after their undying love is talked about.
Listen to Reis. NIL is almost everything. Affection from fans and success are not going to keep players anymore. I’m just rewiring my brain for it. As everyone should. Excited to see who our last two adds will be.
The narrative that Ebube can't be conditioned enough to play 20+ minutes per game is so tiring (no pun intended). He never got the opportunity here, so we wouldn't know. With the right coaching and system, Scottie has the potential to be a monster in any league. I hope he reaches it.

Agreed. And the notion that his limited playing time under Mullins was only a function of his conditioning is misguided.
I'm reasonably certain that the "whole coaching staff" had little to do with the use or misuse of any player during games.@siudawgs we could have had prime shaq and he would have been misused. Whole coaching staff just honestly sucked at that
One of those coaches is still on the current staff so I don't get constantly bashing the old staff
