This kid looks like he could be a real steal. Can not only shoot lights out, but could also take the point on and distribute the ball. When you shoot 49% from 3pt range at ANY level, it is impressive. I'd be ecstatic if he chose SIU !!!
I had to check the math on that 3-point percentage, but it's legit. Averages more than five assists per game, too. Looks like a mighty fine fit at point guard.
Only question mark is the level of competition...NJCAA Division 3?? Obviously, he was the best player on the team, though. And they did win a National Championship. Did I read correctly that he signed with Temple out of HS? OK, we'll take him. 🤣
Seems like Wicks might get the Wyoming job and Monaghan is mentioned as a possible replacement
Sundance bolted.
Option 1 (most likely): Ebube follows coach to an even more glamorous locale, windblown Wyoming, plays in Mountain West (though for likely losing team) and maybe even gets NIL bump
Option 2 (somewhat likely): Sticks with Frozen Phoenix, especially if Monaghan stays on staff there
Option 3 (longshot): Ebube reopens commitment. And if that’s the case …. last I looked SIU still has a starting spot open at the 5 and he could regain fan favorite status quickly.
Ain't happening! SE will enjoy the lake effect snow at UWGB. Poor guy.
And Laradise is one of the windiest places on Planet Earth. Should have stuck with the 110 heat indices of C'dale. LOL
So Bryson Smith would have 2 years of eligibility?
Well things have certainly slowed down here...hopefully we see them pick up again soon.

Oh gee whiz lol we landed 3 dudes in like 5 days. It's not always going to be that fast. We'll be fine

I didn't realize that Sundance Wells was a former Wyoming assistant.

We've got 4 open spots and I want them filled now!!
In all seriousness, I'm not even talking about landing someone...just hearing about guys visiting specifically ball handlers and a big guy!

I'm sure things are happening behind the scenes and we just aren't hearing about it. For example the Steffe commitment came out of nowhere. I don't think he was ever even mentioned until after he committed
I noticed Coach Mamon is following on twitter the 2 guards who were committed to Wyoming before the coaching change. They have entered the portal. Whatever that's worth?
