@foxman24 I completely understand, but my guess is Monaghan either follows the former coach or he’s looking for his next gig. Either way Ebube and Wonders will have to determine what their next move is. It would have been nice to have Ebube back, but based on the recent signings it appears that ship has sailed.
Not sure if Ali is coming to SIU but he had some of his best games in the bigger games of the season. He scored 15pts to open to season vs Oklahoma St., scored 11 vs Missouri St, scored 18 vs Arkansas and 20 & 24 respectively vs Grand Canyon. The only concern I have is that he had a 2 to 1 turnover to assist ratio.

Checked out Drake's message board (he visited Drake not long after he visited SIU) and they seem to be fairly confident about landing him. I'd rather not see him go there.
That would be sweet! Would it be a straight up trade for Hornecker or would we have to give them another player to be named later?Reddick posted a GIF of Muhammad Ali.
Ali Dibba??
SIU is in negotiations with the city of Effingham to also send Abilene Christian the giant cross off I57.
LOL
I heard it's a 3-way deal. The big cross goes to Monroe, OH, Big Butter Jesus goes to Abilene, Effingham Co. crop failures due to the big cross blocking out the sun will end, and we get Ali Dibba!
@insaluki certainly wouldn't be coming in as a PG lol but his knack for scoring is certainly desirable

I totally understand but still any 2 to 1 (Turnover to assist) ratio, and the sheer volume of turnovers, is concerning. That being said, 6-4 guard who can score, slash AND defend would be a welcome addition.
He is not a PG. He can play the 2 or 3.@foxman24 It looks like he is listed as a PG on some sites.
Illinois State got a commitment from Cameron Barnes out of Ole Miss. Barnes sat his Freshman year but was a 3 star out of HS. Think he was HS teammates with Davion Sykes
He played for one of the best high school basketball teams in the country in 22/23, but his stats were pretty pedestrian. I think he was rated the #147 HS recruit in the country for his upside. 6'9" skinny, but athletic. Redshirted for Ole Miss.Illinois State got a commitment from Cameron Barnes out of Ole Miss. Once upon a time, there was a Point Guard who chose SIU and led them to the NCAA tournament in their new Coaches first year............... let's not make this just a fairytale story!!!!!
